Hello, my name is Rebecca Morris. I am an artist based in North Wales, originally from the North East of England. I am married to Steve and we have three beautiful daughters.


Growing up, I always loved being creative. I pursued art in school and college, eventually moving on to university to study Fine Art. During this time, I developed skills and explored many ways to express creativity. 

In my schooling I loved drawing and working with colour to create bold and vibrant art. I desired to create and communicate a message but I felt I had nothing to say and I lacked vision. That changed in my second year at university when a God I wasn’t even looking for found me and completely captured my heart, sparking a new creativity and passion. This fresh inspiration began to shape me from the inside out. I discovered I had a voice that was my own and I had images within me waiting to be expressed.

 

I've come to realise that imitating what's popular both restricts creativity and stifles the ability to produce authentic art. I believe art has the ability to inspire and bring life. My work is free flowing and energetic combining both form and abstract to create vibrant works that speak. My work is prophetic in nature and often carries the voice of the Spirit of God who always has something to say from season to season.
