Multi choice

Why Llewyrcha? Why Unveiled?

We’ve chosen the name Llewyrcha—meaning flourish or shine forth. It speaks more than just light or radiance, but of the brightness that emerges when artists collaborate. Unveiled means something once hidden, now being seen. It’s about stepping into the light, which shines brighter when we step out together—six artists, some local and others joining us from further afield, displaying their latest creations.
Canolfan Ebeneser is part of a Grade II listed Wesleyan chapel, the first of its kind built in Wales, created to the glory of God. It has a rich history, and we believe it’s important to honour the foundations — spiritual, physical, and emotional — that have paved the way for where we stand today.
In celebration, we are creating an entrance gallery—a space that shares stories of local people, the chapel itself, pieces of art, and the moments we’ve discovered as we’ve opened the doors to this special building.
Welcome to a space that both unveils what has been found and shines forth with what is being created!

Pam Llewyrcha? Pam Unveiled?

Rydym wedi dewis yr enw Llewyrcha — sy’n golygu ffynnu neu ddisgleirio.. Mae’n dweud mwy na golau neu lewyrch yn unig; mae’n sôn am y disgleirdeb sy’n dod i’r amlwg pan fydd artistiaid yn cydweithio. Unveiled — rhywbeth a fu’n guddiedig, yn awr yn cael ei weld. Mae’n ymwneud â chamu i’r goleuni, goleuni sy’n disgleirio’n fwy pan awn allan gyda’n gilydd — Chwech o artistiaid, rhai lleol a’r lleill yn ymuno â ni o bellach i ffwrdd, yn arddangos eu creadigaethau diweddaraf.

Mae Canolfan Ebeneser yn rhan o gapel Wesleyan rhestredig Gradd II — y cyntaf o’i fath i’w godi yng Nghymru, wedi’i greu er gogoniant Duw. Mae ganddo hanes cyfoethog, ac rydym yn credu ei bod yn bwysig anrhydeddu’r sylfeini — ysbrydol, corfforol ac emosiynol — sydd wedi paratoi’r ffordd i’r man lle rydym yn sefyll heddiw.

Er mwyn dathlu, rydym yn creu oriel fynedfa — gofod sy’n rhannu straeon pobl leol, hanes y capel, darnau o gelf, a’r eiliadau rydym wedi’u darganfod wrth agor drysau’r adeilad arbennig hwn.

Croeso i le sy’n datgelu’r hyn a gafwyd ac yn llewyrchu gyda’r hyn sy’n cael ei greu!
